branch according to job requirments from a recognized university. It varies for
post to posts and includes subjects such as agricultural sciences,agricultural
engineering veterinary sciences and it branches,zoology,botany,plant
physiology,mechanical engineering,physics,chemistry,soilchemistry,bioinformatics,microbiology,entomology,biotechnology,bio

(i)Doctoral degree in Plant Pathology/ Nematology/Agricultural Entomology

Specialization and research experience in Plantation Crops.

Qualifications
Essential: Doctoral degree in Physical
Oceanography including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the
relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an
equivalent position in the pay band-3 of `15,600-39,100 with grade pay
of`5400/`6000/`7000/`8000 having made contribution to research/
teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and
impact.
Desirable:
Experience in Fisheries related Oceanography.
3. Senior

Qualifications
Essential:
Doctoral degree in Physical Oceanography in relevant subject including relevant

experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent
position in the pay band-3 of `15,600-39,100 with grade pay of

impact.
Desirable:
Specialization and experience in Farm Mechanization/ Post Harvest Technology.
5. Senior

Qualifications
Essential:
Doctoral degree in Plant Pathology including relevant basic sciences with 8
years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension

research/teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published

Desirable:
Specialization and experience in working in Plant Pathogenic
Viruses/Phytoplasma.

Doctoral degree
in Fisheries Science/ Aquaculture or Marine Biology/ Oceanography/Zoology with
specialization in Fisheries Sciences/ Aquatic Biology and Fisheries or related
subjects including relevant basic sciences. (ii) & (iii) As in item no. 01
above.
Desirable:
Specialization and research experience in Marine Fisheries/ Mariculture/Fishery
Biology/Fisheries Management/ Fisheries Environment.
