NEHRU YUVA KENDRA SANGATHAN (NYKS),New Delhi, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, invites applications for the post of District Youth Coordinator (DYC).

No of the Post: 45 (General – 24; SC – 07; ST – 03; OBC -11)

Salary: PB-3 Rs. 15600 – 39100/- + GP Rs. 5400/-

Age Limit: 21 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years as on 01/01/2013.

Eligibility:

·       *Candidate must possess Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

·       *Should be declared successful in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2011/2012 and appeared for interview.i.e Applicants who had been declared successful at the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination,2011/12 and appeared for interview but were not finally selected for any appointment in any ofthe Services under the Civil Services Examination.

*Desirable:At least three years experience in youth development activities / rural development / community development / other social sectors including voluntary work in a recognized organization in a responsible position.

Selection Procedure:

(i) As against 45 posts to be filled, a maximum number of 450 candidates shall be called

for interview/Personality Test. Short listing of applicants will be based on their past

academic record and marks obtained in the Civil Services(Main) Examination,

2011/2012 and Interview/ Personality Test in the Civil Services examination,

2011/2012.

(ii) The short listing and selection to the post shall be done as per the procedure and

criteria laid down by the Department of Youth Affairs. Short Listed candidates will

be informed of the Date, Time and Venue of the Interview/Personality test by Post

and E-mail. The candidates can also check the date time and venue on the website.
