SSC Southern
Region Recruitment 2013 – Group B & C Posts:
Staff Selection Commission, Southern Region, Chennai invites applications for
the recruitment of Group B & C Posts. Eligible candidates can send
applications in the prescribed format on or before 01-07-2013 and 08-07-2013
for remote areas. More details regarding of each posts of ssc notification is

1.Scientific Assistant-I
in Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine &Storage
No. of Vacancies: UR–1 (One); OBC-1 (One) & SC-1(One). The post is not identified
suitable for OH/HH/VH candidates. Hence, these candidates need not apply.

: Degree in Electronics or Electrical
Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent OR

Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Communication or Radio Engineering from a

(ii) 3
years experience in installation/maintenance of Electrical/Wireless equipments
such as Wireless Transmitters, Receivers and Aerial Systems.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on Screening Test, Written
Proficiency Test, Interview or Skill Test.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay the
fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are
available in all Post Offices. SC/ ST, OH/ HH, Female and eligible
EX-Serviceman candidates are exempted from the fees.
